A Message from 2026 CCAO President Denise Driehaus, Hamilton County Commissioner

Welcome to the County Commissioners Association of Ohio (CCAO). It is my honor to serve as President of this organization and to work alongside county leaders from across our great state. CCAO has long been a respected and effective voice for Ohio’s counties, and I am proud to continue that tradition of leadership and collaboration.

As we look ahead to a year with significant challenges, I am confident that county leaders from every corner of our state will work together to protect and strengthen the essential services our residents rely on. It is imperative that we tell our stories: the stories of our constituents and our communities. Counties play a vital role in ensuring safe communities, supporting economic opportunity, and delivering the everyday services Ohioans depend on. At CCAO, our mission is to empower that work and elevate those stories—through strong legislative advocacy, education and training, and innovative programs that help counties thrive.
